Cochlear Implant Program
In
our continuous effort to provide our patients with any services and
assistance they need, we have established JISH Cochlear Implant Program in the region.
A potential
candidate participates in extensive multidisciplinary evaluation by a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) together
with their families, and receives guidance regarding the process. Our
mission is to support the option of cochlear implants for children and
adults who are not benefiting from other means of technology and by
utilizing an individualized, family-centered approach in order to maximize auditory potentials. We are
committed to the long-term support of our cochlear implant patients,
from the initial fitting and programming of the device, through
re/habilitation, to ongoing management and maintenance of device
performance.
