Abdulrahaman Naqawa, M.A., CCC-SLP
Research & Development Manager

I spent the last 12 years working as a speech-language pathologist, and it continues to be an exciting field with many challenges and opportunities. It gives me the ability each and every day to make a positive difference in the life of patients, whether it is regaining speech after a stroke, or producing first words after hearing aid fitting or cochlear implant, or speaking more fluently and coping with  stuttering, or speaking without any embarrassing misarticulations. On top of that, being a speech pathologist in this time and in this part of the world, where speech pathology is at its infancy, makes it even a more exciting and challenging profession. As a clinician with 12 years experience, I endeavor to utilize my clinical skills and experience to lead the way for the younger generation of speech pathologists. Finally, my passion for innovation in developing resources and therapy materials to make speech language  pathology accessible to all those who need it in my country and  across the Arab world ensures that I have high level of professional satisfaction and enthusiasm that is still going strong after more than a decade.
